A Shadowy Day in Chicago
!
I need to take a plane ride with my camera. This is a great shot.
I’m torn about this. On the one hand, it’s hilarious that her car got covered in snow all because she stole a shovel. On the other hand, it’s sad and pathetic that Welles thought he was being clever by covering her car with snow.
She was stupid for stealing the shovel, and he was just as stupid for leaving it out in the first place. I’m glad the news media is showcasing two of Chicago’s finest for the rest of the world to point and laugh.
This is one of those things, that, when you learn about it, you won’t be able to stop seeing everywhere in old Chicago structures.
I don’t recall hearing about this on the architecture tours we’ve taken in the past. Now, this will certainly jump out at me when I see it.
Lightning strikes Chicago!
