I just tuned into the red carpet pre-show for the first time in years. It started 5 minutes ago, and I think that’s 5 minutes more than I should have watched.
The collection of idiots at the Oscars is just astounding. They can read scripts wonderfully, but these on-the-spot interviews on the red carpet are not doing any favors for their public images.
I will admit that they are a generally attractive bunch. So, maybe I’ll just watch with the audio muted. I do have new music to listen to on the iPod. Yeah, that’ll make this a much more tolerable night.
I guess I’ll go back to my research. Boo to the Oscars!

Just watched Conan’s last show. Way to screw that up, NBC.
This was shared on Google Reader, and it’s spot on. There are a couple of things in the news more important than LenO’Brien-Gate. Just a couple, though.
Kristy and I were talking about music and then I brought up Glee and the counselor Emma Pillsbury, played by Jayma Mays.
I just love how they styled the character. And there’s just something about her eyes that’s so, just, wow!
